Tim is a very engaging and energetic speaker who shared stories about the life and times of Pete Browning.
Attendees enjoyed baseball fare of peanuts, popcorn and candy while learning about the many accomplishments of Pete Browning.
Tim has written a book about Pete Browning, The Original Louisville Slugger.

Prigel Creamery Tour – August 19, 2025
The Prigel siblings spoke with the group about the family farm history before heading out to the pasture.
Attendees learned that the creamery offers more than ice cream, including milk, cheese and grass-fed beef.
Matt takes care of the approximately 150 cows that graze the pastures.
The Prigels have been farming this land for over 100 years.

Yvonne prepared these delicious treats from a Julia Child cookbook.

Walking Tour of Lake Roland, July 26, 2025
SBO President Chris Bricker attended this event.
After parking at the Falls Rd Light Rail Station, we took a scenic boardwalk path to the Nature Center.
Our tour guide, Sam, gave a brief intro to the park's unique history, then led the group along scenic trails, highlighting the plants, animals and insects that make Maryland's nature captivating year-round.
We spotted a turtle along the walk.
